This lower level went from unused square footage to the most-used room in the house. We opened up the whole floor into one bright, easy-flowing space — a lounge on one end, a full wet bar on the other, and nothing in between to break up the party. Warm wood-look flooring and layered recessed lighting keep it feeling like a true living space rather than a basement.

The entertainment wall anchors the room with a large mounted TV set into a dark, LED-backlit feature panel and a run of custom low cabinetry for everything to tuck away into. Across the room, the custom wet bar does the heavy lifting for hosting: quartz countertops, a stone-tile backsplash, a full wall-mounted wine rack, glass-front upper cabinets, and pendant-lit bar seating for guests to pull up to.
